Arrige aures, or “Open Ears”. From Terenzio to Cage bounces the invitation
to listen and pay attention in catching the sonic details that subtly creep into
our lives.
The composition explores an eight-channel sound field full of charm, subtle
puns and psychoacoustic suggestions where nothing is what it seems, so that
better “prick up your ears”.
Fabio Iaci: musician, composer, sound designer, graduate in semiotics of music (DAMS
Bologna) and Electronic Music (G.B. Martini Conservatory - Bologna).
Jazz musician education (bass), approaches to electronic music with the courses of the
production, research and musical teaching Temporeale centre in Florence and Fonoprint
recording studios in Bologna.
Teacher as expert in electronic music, production and audio applications in the course"Musica elettronica in rete" (European Community – MIUR 2002 - 2005).
Expert in audio restoration, works with FSCIRE Bologna as a composer, sound designer,
sound engineer, in the realization of exhibitions, audiovisual installations and historic
documentaries for the RAI and Sky. Founder of the association Sounday and editor for
